App just came back up. Now I'm THANKFUL, PITB 1600 Elite pro communication established. Brisket is about to stall period.

Just called customer service and they were very helpful. Had an issue with password and the reset service as well as volume. Two words: capacity planning

Didn't the servers crash last year during a holiday smoke?

Glad it's back for you guys. I just am thankful I can see my PB outside the kitchen door on the porch and rely on PB to get their app functioning.

Same problem. My pit boss app showed ‘server error’ all day on Thanksgiving. Absolutely unacceptable Pit Boss. Please upgrade your server capacity and have more IT support on these key holidays. Next major issue like this one and I’ll be switching to a Traeger.

It's situations like this that make me realize that other methods need to be employed. Local control over private WiFi would be the best option, IMO. Bluetooth second due to the limited range. Just take the central server out of the equation altogether!
