Pitboss 1600 fire issue

I left the cover off one night with no rain expected and you guessed it, it rained. Water got into the hopper and the pellets turned to concrete. I cleaned everything out but now I'm having an issue like the fire box isn't getting enough air. I cooked on it yesterday and it got up to temp but once I got white smoke again. Then I cranked it up to high and it struggled until I opened the door, then it seemed to catch and took off fine. Did I miss cleaning something out?

Prolly got real wet let it dry out crank it up and let it heat for while
