The Smoke-It app has been abandoned for a while.
The app is now the PitBoss Grills app. And it’s been working great.
Call Danson’s customer service at 877.303.3134 or 480.923.9630 for information or suggestions for the new app, or operating assistance or for a warranty registration or parts replacement under your 5 year warranty.



In Canada: Phone: 1-877-942-2246 And 877-303-3134 and 877-942-2246 are the Danson’s tech line.



Also definitely leave your phone number for call back if prompted to.

If your controller is the issue, they can diagnose it and get it replaced under warranty for you.

The app and grill were working fine for me until 7/2 when my app and firmware updated. Took several tries to get the firmware updated on the grill then everything went bad. Just installed the third controller on my 1150ps2 without success. Supposedly my case was elevated to "supervisor level." I would say if it is working do not update the app or the grill until PB/Danson gets this sorted out. The grill is still usable just functions like a grill that is currently $300 cheaper which is my main point of contention.

If it works then celebrate that it works! Also if you did anything other than "plug and pray," please pass along..
