Smoke Adjustment Bar will not move

My smoke adjuster bar is jammed. I just bought the grill two days ago, preassembled from Academy. Any tips on making this adjuster work? I tried loosening up the screws but that didn't change anything.

(I tried to imbed this short little movie of my trying to move the smoke bar but it wouldn't work, so if you would be so kind as to watch this 8 second video to better understand what I'm talking about that'd be most excellent)

Definitely jammed up. Looks like you’ll have to disassemble it to get to what’s going on
Hopefully you get it figured out
Try calling pitboss support first thing in the morning
Hopefully this helps you

Mine locked up also after smoking 2 butts. After it cooled down during clean up I unhooked clip on slider and popped sear plate loose. Will be cooking 6 butts next Friday for church probably will use drip liner over broiler plate and slider.
