Smoke coming out of top seam

I have Label Series (LGV4BL) same as pit boss vertical. Just did burn in and I see blue smoke coming out of seam on top right side. Not the chimney. I called dansons and said that’s normal.

Hmmm. I have a series 4 vertical. I have a little that escapes around the door seal, but nothing on a seam. Guessing something inside isn’t sealed properly.

Only had my 4 series a month or two but I do see smoke from the back seam where the auger hangs at times. I have been told by other enthusiasts that the cabinets are not designed to be air tight or else gasses can compress and possibly ignite.

I am not too worried about mine. I am sure you could disassemble it and seal every little Crack but how much difference do you think it would make?
