Smoke it app not displaying info (PB850ps2)

Just bought a pit boss pro series 850, and I can’t get the smoke it app to work. I can connect to the grill through WiFi and Bluetooth but when I open the app I can’t do anything, and it doesn’t display any info (see image). Has anyone else had issues with this?

I would try uninstalling and re-installing the app, if that doesn't work call Pit Boss
or try Flame Tech (888) 503-8702
or App Assist< i don't have their number handy maybe the same.
