Yea. I noticed that too. The new white Smoke It.
But the Smoke-It Legacy I’m using is gone.

Ok. I’m out with the PBV4PS2 now. The one day updated Legacy seems to work fine. However it still missing from the App Store. Whatever change they did that my phone automatically updated still runs. And I shut off automatic updates. Lol.
Anyway all commands and stats of app is perfect to control. And commands given at control displays in app.
Now I can sleep. Lol.

Hey for sure let us know. A lot of us are struggling between what we’ve been told vs what the info at App Store says vs what works. Lol. If yours automatically updated maybe it’ll be perfect!!
The one thing I haven’t messed with is recipes. I don’t think I’d use that feature anyway. After everything this one has done in the past there’s no way in heck I’d set a recipe and leave it.
But just for the heck of it and so I’ll know I just set a step 1 at like 225 deg for 1 hour.
Curious what it does. I’ve nevet messed with that before. And still would t actually run it. But curiosity got the best of me. Lol.
The app is displaying the time. I’m waiting for it to hit temp to see if the timer counts down or whatever.
But oddly it doesn’t show the step number.
Control shows step 01 0100 hour. And temp is set to 225.
Btw. Just testing. No meat in there.
May blow up. Lmao.

Recipe test. Ok I’m glad I’m not a Recipe kinda guy. Lol. I set a step using the control. The app picked up the time for the step but not the step number. Anyway I let it churn. When it hit 225 I expected it to cruise for an hour. It did not. Kept climbing.
But I really believe I didn’t do something right. It’s hot as hell out there and all I really wanted to know is if that app still worked after the update.
It worked fine. I discount the recipe thing on the control and app both. Besides I don’t think I did it right I have zero interest in using it.
So. The app still runs. I can monitor everything on the control and it’s true and verified. And I can make temp changes and they take. I can shut it down.
That is ALL I want anyway.

DUMMY UPDATE ON RECIPE.
I DID mess it up. Looking at the manual while it’s shutting down. I def did mess up. So at this point I’m not sure. May try later. But too dam hot right now.

That’s great news Sparky! I kinda figured it would. I think yours is one of the couple it’s specified for. Slowly but surely we can all get this stuff working.

I’m glad it let you pick yours! I tried so many times to load that one I’ve lost count. First couple of times when it asked me to pick my unit it wasn’t in there. Later on, when I kept trying, I think it WAS in there but when I tried to choose it the darn thing would start blinking and freeze up.
The last couple of attempts it let me pick it and finish the install. But it would t do anything other than show my current temp. I couldn’t DO anything from it.
I finally gave up and contacted support. And one of the guys told me over the phone to use the Legacy version. I did And it worked. At the App Store believe it says the Legacy version was for pit boss grills. And the new white Smoke iT says it’s for Lockhart and Combo series units?

Against better judgment I opened the app this morning after getting tri tip up and running. You can see screenshots under what’s cooking post. App must have auto updated. It’s the white background. Seems to be working 
only auger light seems out of sync. I like the potential of the graphs. But not ready for prime time. Smoke on

Found by accident. On first screen where u see a pic of your smoker and name. There is a gear too right. Open that and u will see options for calibration WiFi reset test and graphalytis.
