Start on Power ON?

Excellent point. If you don't want it to start, don't turn it on. Easy peasy.
Yea but with a stove it's already on and waiting for you to set a temp and select bake, etc. before it does anything.
So, you are saying and soon as you plug in your stove and it gets power it starts cooking something?

No as soon is I push the on button it is the same as the smoker does . I plug it in and turn it on and set the temp to what I want to cook. If your's starts as soon as plugged in there is a problem I have to push the on button for that to happen and then it's ready to set temp and cook

Think of your power button as the "bake" button on a stove. Neither unit starts heating when you plug it in, which you inferring with your stove analogy above.

If it is going to bother you that much, you could always downgrade your controller to the dumb one that I have that has a power button and also an off setting on the temp dial. Other than that, I'm not sure what else you want this forum to do for you.

Didn't ask anyone to do anything for me. My point was that Pit Boss's own support contradicts what is being said here. You would think they would be familiar with their own products.
