So I didn't realize I had to use pellets and not chips. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have done everything possible to remove all the chips. I see a couple that are wedged in the auger. How simple is it or not to remove the back of the hopper and get them out? Any other suggestions? Thank you.

It’s not that hard. I’d start with emptying the hopper, remove control panel then the box. One other option after the hopper is empty is to squirt some charcoal starter on them and try to burn them out.

Check out you tube, there are many vid's there on removing a augur, step by step. Just know your model number and do a search on you tube.
