I recently received a Pit Boss 440D2 for Father's Day from my family. I've actually grilled burgers on it twice so far. During both grilling sessions, I'd have the temp set at 400 - 450 degrees, but the thermometer on the lid would never register over 350 degrees. The burgers turned out fine both times, I just had to leave them on longer and keep an eye on them. Just wondering if I have a bad lid thermometer, or if it is normal for there to be this much of a temperature difference between the two thermometers on the unit?
