Any icons flashing along with the ERR. If it's the igniter icon, then could be igniter. Got one from Amazon. It was faster.

Yes. Had the same problem with my grill. Bought a new igniter off Amazon for less than $15. Fixed it.

Amazon…. I think I’ll try a new controller. Then everything will be newly replaced.. thanks for the response.

In my case, I had the igniter icon flashing along with the ERR, then it would shut down. Customer service said it sounds like the controller. Took them over a month to send me a replacement controller. Didn't fix it. Bought an igniter off Amazon, because I didn't want to wait for customer service. Got it in 3 days. New igniter fixed it. My grill was a newer Lexington Onyx Edition. This is the igniter that fixed it.
