Temps fluctuate 100 to 500 deg

PB150PPS about 6 months old when cold it shows sometimes 180 deg sometimes 100 deg when it starts to heat up it fluctuates several degrees it can go from 180 to 450 in a few seconds and then it goes into error please answer me what I can do

I have the vertical smoker. Are you cleaning the temp probe inside the grill? That will eventually get mucked up and cause inaccurate readings, and thus temps.

I'd call customer support 877 303 3134 option 2. Might be the temperature probe.
