Tips for first time brisket

I like to finish my cools with my handheld, but I like the built in probes to monitor via WiFi it/when I'm away from the smoker (think longer cook it I have to leave the house).

I trust my Bluetooth and handheld gauges much more but I want the wifi probes to work too.

I like the probe on the unit but verify with a hand held all the time .I know how far mine is off and can get close all the time its knowing your smoker

I have a handheld but I like to have something wireless that I can monitor until I get close. Otherwise I open the lid too much...or get busy and forget it.

$900 grill...

Yesterday the power button quit working to turn it off. It turns it on but not off. I had to use the app to shut it down. I had decided to live with the temp probes and smoke stack not working, but not this. Calling CS shortly.

$900 grill. So far the smoke stack stripped out, both temp probes quit working, and now the power button only works to turn it on.

I have a love/hate relationship with this KC Combo now.

New control board and smoke stack are on the way. I hope that fixes the issues for a long time!
