Too hot

Bought pit boss 440 and cannot keep it from overheating. Have cleaned and have p7 set and still reach 450-500 degrees on the smoke setting. Have cooled down and unplugged several times with the same result. What next

You need to call pitboss. They answer 24/7. Probably a control board issue
