I got the same error yesterday afternoon while trying to do beer-can chickens. I was able to connect using Facebook but it would only read probe 2.

They have multiple problems; I tried to create a new account on the WWW and that doesnt work either. There's just something broken and the company that does their tech is probably closed for the weekend.Same error here since last night. Tried deleting app and reload a couple times and now I can’t even sign in. It shows that I do not have an account and doesn’t recognize my email. I tried starting a whole new account and it won’t even let me do that!

I heard that. Even though my 1150 has the capability it's not worth the headache with messin with a junky app.Glad I don’t have a app on my 820
I keep mine on the screened in back porch. If we’re not sitting outside it gives me an excuse to go check on it from time to time
I had the latest version and it still didnt work. I removed the app, donwloaded it again and it worked. I'd downloaded the latest on Saturday and it did not work at that time. So it's not new, but may need to be re-installed.It looks like they just rolled out an update. I updated my app and can now log in.
Welcome from Texas to the group.Just found this forum. Updated the app and now I can log in. Nice to find this group. And I totally agree, why do I have to log in to a server to monitor my own smoker?!?!

Sorry, but how does logging in to a Pit Boss server help keep my home system secure? Seems like once I stored my router password in the app I shouldn’t have to talk to a remote server. To keep security on you home system intact and allow access from outside the local ip range
