I bought the PBV4PS2, vertical smoker in Lowe's... the first two cooks went well, the 3rd one I got temperature probe error. Solution? Pit Boss will send you a new one... fine, 2 weeks later I got it, NO INSTRUCTIONS! They referred me to the YouTube channel which is worthless for those who have that model -Pit Boss Pro Series 4 Series Vertical Smoker- because the wiring is not in the same place. Like, part of ANY R&D process is documentation post sale if they are pretending for us to do the repairs. Unbelievable that a company THAT big still don't have any how-tos for a part that seems to be quite defective. Customer service is completely clueless and still wanted me to fetch the probe from under and never mind this model has the probe in the side, next to the main board.... what a shame..... what a shame.....
On that note, anyone here knows how to change the internal temperature probe in that particular model (PBV4PS2)?
