What do you do? (work)

We love it here. My wife has wanted to leave Florida since the hurricane back in 2018. No good jobs there anyway since it's a tourist area with tourism jobs.

Oldest daughter still there. She's a senior in college and plans to move here when she graduates. She visited us for 3 weeks and loved the area. Youngest adjusting but it's taking some time. A move out of state is hard on a middle schooler but she's doing the best she can.
It’s always tough on the kids because they leave friends behind to make new ones but hopefully all will be good

I was a Stationary Engineer. Operated 3200 psi syeam boilers in generating stations, & 750psi in a corn refinery, and smaller low pressure steam boilers in Chicago and Florida hospitals for 20 years. After that, left the boiler field, and got bored, so I went offshore in the oil field and learned pastry and became a diabetic from that filed. Now, I'm retired, and moved to northeastern England, and became a Newbie pellet grill operator.
