Why are Walmart PB Pellets cheaper?

The Pit Boss pellets made for Walmart are cheaper than the ones for any other retailer. Does anyone know conclusively if the Hickory or Mesquite pellets are better/worse from Walmart than anywhere else?

I would think since is is a PB labelled bag it would be their pellets, Walmart probably buys in such volume that they can offer a better price. Or, less profit per bag but more profits overall by units sold.

It all depends on what fits your needs.
The one thing to remember is to sift any bag of pellets through a colander then store in a air tight container

All I have used is the mesquite pellets from Walmart with no problems. I do shift them thru a colander before I put them into the hopper.

Menards has same pricing in my town but not as many flavors. Tractor Supply has 20lb Bear Mountain on sale frequently at $9.99.

Almost everything I have read indicates they are made by Pit Boss.
