How to get someone from Danson's/Pit Boss to respond?

Watch the video, Paul is Canadian. His maintains at 350 while it is 16 degrees. He said he would post another when it was even colder.

But yeah, cold weather here in Florida is 60. I think the coldest I have used mine is in the 50's.

Will do buddy! Thanks.

I have been trying to get through to ANYBODY since July! JULY!! I've called, left messages for a call back - NEVER received a call back. Got on the website and opened a case. It looked promising when somebody apologized and asked for my address and said that they would get it sent out. After several weeks of no parts showing up, I got back on the website to check the case and it was DELETED!! It's October 22nd!! I've gotten NOTHING! I am sooo damn mad since I bought this grill for my son for his birthday and when you spend that amount of money on a grill - the least they can do is provide decent customer service!!

I found that the quickest way to contact their customer service was to go to their facebook page and message them I have received a reply within a day or two usually

Finally got my replacement board today. Swapped out the old one and ran the smoker for a 30 minute test drive at 200. Went up to 390 initially but then levelled out to 200 after about 20 minutes. Have to work all weekend but smoking a pork belly early next week!

Good to hear. Normally I let mine run 20 min or so to settle down a bit. Initially it will get hot as it feeds pellets then will settle down

My Austin XL is experiencing power issues for a second time.. Love the grill, hate the control board.. My 820D at our camp is excellent and has never skipped a beat

I had the same problem. My fan was in a bind during shipping. The grill did nothing. When I took the bottom of the pellet box, I freed up the fan motor, and it started up. MAYBE THAT WILL HELP YOU. No help from Pitt boss.

I am not getting the blue power glow when plugged in and hit the power button. It works great when it is actually working though. Fan has been working as normal up until the lastest power issue. I will double check to make it is free though.. Already have the bottom off so I could check all the control board connections. Thank you!

They are VERY VERY helpful and nice when you finally do get a hold of them. Just have to stay calm and call every day like I did when my PID died...lol

I live in Saskatchewan Canada and the coldest I have done a cook with either my Copperhead 7 or my Austin XL was minus 36 C or minus 32.8 F and my PITBOSSes worked great i had to bump up the temperature to around 300 but most of the time I had it set to 250 takes a bit longer cook time but not bad
