Liners for pbv4ps4

I am getting a pbv4ps2 delivered on Friday and I order the water pan and grease drip liner but seems like my package was lost in the mail.

Do I need these or can I use tin foil instead? Also for the water pan does water temp matter?

If any one has a good picture or YouTube video of how they set up before a long cook that would be great.

You could use a foil pan

I use heavy duty foil in my water pan and the wife picks up the aluminum tins for the grease at a dollar tree or dollar general.

I use heavy duty foil. As far as temps I still get a fair amount of steam even as low as 180°f but typically run it at or over 200°f for a good level of moister in the chamber. If you’re running 275°f or higher keep a close eye on the water level as it boils off rather quickly. Also, I always start off with hot tap water at the start of the smoke so it gets to temp faster.
