Malfunction detected at start up

Anyone ever get a message on the control unit stating “a malfunction was detected at start up” and says to get instructions from your owners manual or contact www.pitboss.com for answers? I got notified thru the app as well. The unit was shutting down. There was a pic of an upside down pig on the panel. Fire was out, fan was blowing, so I unplugged it, waited 10 seconds & plugged it back in. I restarted the unit (I got tri tips waiting - gotta try, right?) and all went to normal. I do plan a thorough cleaning before my next cook.
