I just ordered a couple bags of the bear mountain bourbon craft. I guess I’ll see how those are. I have only used the gourmet blend from bear mountain. I thought they were okay better than the PB completion blend in my opinion.
I looked at the Bourbon also. Now that I have a way to obtain the product, I plan to try several. I was not impressed with PB Competition blend. Good price at Tractor Supply, $9.99 for a 20 pound bag. Hope Lowes is in the same ball park. Amazon wants about double that.

Order and pick it up at the store, mine has it in stock which I was shocked, it's a good seller and mostly is out of stock.
I tried two local Tractor Supply stores a while ago and neither had Bear Mountain in stock. A clerk said they get shut off for the winter. That's odd since we are in Florida. Just learned I can order and pick up at the nearest store with no shipping charge. Ordered apple and hickory but they had no hickory at this time. If these pellets are as good as I've heard, I'll likely be a regular customer. Even heard they create a lot less cash. Looking forward to trying. Of course I still have quite a bit of PB to use up.
