PBV4NX dead controller board, needs replacement but Pit Boss says "Out Of Stock". Where to buy replacement?

I just made an account specifically for this post.. I see there's another recent comment as well.

I got this same board in today and planned on swapping wires around like you mentioned. What did you do with the extra white jumper wires that are not on the original board? I can only assume you didn't use them, and instead just directly matched colors to the harness coming off the smoker? Hoping to hear your response.

I can't speak for him, but looking at it, I would have to say that he cut the plug off and inserted the black and red wires into the blue terminal. There's a slot for a flathead screwdriver to tighten once the wire is inside. I would leave enough wire protruding from the cut plug, just in case you need to reconnect the plug down the road. That is, if Pitboss ever figures their stuff out and actually starts sending out the correct board replacement under warranty like they should've been doing months ago.
I moved the pins in the connectors to match the colors to the connectors coming out of the grill, and wired all the white wires together.

i went out and took a couple pics. The white wires, which are all toed together, have 4 pins total, but only one is actually used. One pin is hanging free and the other two I shoved into a spare connector. The temp proble connector I cut off the old controller and attached to the new controller's blue connector.

Yep, you did yours exactly as I did mine. It's been good for numerous smokes now, no issues.
I just got an email from pitboss saying my new board was shipped today. After seeing your recent comments, I think i'll keep the Amazon one as a backup once I put the replacement in, just in case it fries again.
