Is that setting on a five gallon bucket?Just make sure you get one that has holes that aren't too big or all the pellets will fall out.
Here are some pictures of mine on the bed of my truck

Guys will screen their pellets to remove dust created in shipping and handling but I've used several different brands and find no reason to do this but you will need to do a cleaning after long burns around the fire box.Just went through my first bag of pitboss competition pellets. Cleaned the grates and firebox cover. Vacuumed a boat load of pellet dust out of the bottom. Anyone else having this issue?
But if your'e having issues of dust collecting in the auger and causing issues with moisture then sifting the pellets before adding them to the hopper.Guys will screen their pellets to remove dust created in shipping and handling but I've used several different brands and find no reason to do this but you will need to do a cleaning after long burns around the fire box.
It’s a cat liter scooperthis is what I use to fill the hopper by the scoop.
you just scoop it out of the bag and give a little shake the dust falls right out back into the bag or wherever.
dollar store, I have a few.
Also I have taken the grate off so I can scoop pellets back out and stir or agitate them so they don't bridge up.
it's in the kitchen section of the dollar tree store, i think it's a pasta scooper. It’s a cat liter scooper
You can have the sawdust with any of the pellets, some less than others. I use the "farm boy" trick with each new bag of pellets - separating the chaff from the wheat". Using two five gallon buckets, I pour from the bag into a bucket, spacing it so the breeze blows the dust away as the pellets go from the bag to the bucket. Using two buckets and repeat, the more breeze the better, and you will not have dust in the hopper.Just went through my first bag of pitboss competition pellets. Cleaned the grates and firebox cover.
