I've had my Boss for over 3 years. Very happy. Now, for some reason, I fire it up and set temp and so many pellets go into the firebox that it flames up, no matter what I do. I turn it off & try again, setting P level and temp and I get flames coming up like a house on fire! What's going on with my precious smoker!

Sounds like it needs a thorough cleaning to me.

If the auger won't stop feeding pellets, sounds like bad temp sensor or control board. Call Pit Boss customer service.
