Was the yolk soft at all, or was the consistency of a hard boiled egg?and the shell came right off. It had a slight brown tint to the egg and had a slight smoke flavor.
Exactly the same as a hard boiled egg. It was good. Was the yolk soft at all, or was the consistency of a hard boiled egg?
I actually ran at 230 because I don't have 225 on my smoker. I did put a smoke tube in though.I will have to try that tomorrow. Did u use the smoke setting at all or just go for 225?
Maybe run a smoke setting for a while then up it to 225 for the finish. It would be guessworkI will have to try that tomorrow. Did u use the smoke setting at all or just go for 225?
I just followed something I found on Google. They ended up only taking 1.5 hours at 230. I think it really is guess work, I hope my results help.Maybe run a smoke setting for a while then up it to 225 for the finish. It would be guesswork

Yeah mines 230 also I was just referring to the temp inside the grill I was assuming it’s not exactly what controller says. Mines off a little so I will have to run around 240 for about 225 on the grates. I may do the smoke setting for a little bit and throw extra ones on while I’m doing the pork shoulder and just pull one off when I think it’s about time and check it out over the sink lol.I actually ran at 230 because I don't have 225 on my smoker. Sounds like you results were similar to mine. We will be making the deviled eggs this morning. I can't wait to try those.Eggs turned out good at least the one I tested. I did smoke setting 180 on my grill. For 2 hours and bumped it up to 230 for another hour and tested one. It tasted like a hard boiled egg with a hint of smoke. I’m gonna do deviled eggs with them.
They were good. Very light smoke flavor, I'm going to play with it and try to get a bit more smoke flavor. May be take them out if the shell after an hour and finish with a smoke tube. I haven't figured out exactly what I'm going to do yet, but I'll update once I figure it outInteresting topic...Something new to try. Smoked deviled eggs sound good.
