Upgrade Austin XL with pro series PID

Hi I’m wondering if anyone has upgraded their Austin with the plug and play Pro series PID controller. The 1150 looks about the same size as the Austin XL so I would think it would perform almost the same. Any reviews? I read somewhere someone has done this but would like to know if it’s worth it. Thanks

I’ve been checking around to see if anyone else has done this but can’t find anything. Pit Boss now has the 1150 pro and the 1250 Competition Series controllers for sale one the website.
