4 hours to 160 deg, 4.5 hours to 201 deg , cooler for 2 hours. 30 minutes to eat. What is wrong with usView attachment 1588View attachment 1589View attachment 1590
Tri trip on at 8 am. Hesitant to open app after all the chatter. Seems to have updated on its is and working. Auger light not in sync with control, no big deal. Miss not having 275 deg as option as I need to run at about 25 deg higher than what temp I want it at. Neighbor just bought same unit and control is in 10 deg increments. The graphs looks interesting. No way to reset or restart each cook. U can see where I made wings yesterday and cranked to 400 at the end. We will see. Bob

Hell, I'd still eat it!Saturday disappointed
My first ever homemade pizza was a disaster. I have a lot to learn.
It is. Its the lodge 10.25" skillet. Is that a Lodge cast iron?
Tried out one of the Blacklocks yet???It is. Its the lodge 10.25" skillet.
no sir. I have a 14" generic from who knows where, a 12" lodge classic, the10.25" lodge classic, and an 8" lodge classic. I can't afford a $60 pan when a $20 one works as well (i assume no better or worse than blacklock).Tried out one of the Blacklocks yet???
As long as you're happy, that's all that matters! The Blacklock is nicer with a not so nice price. The thing for me was that it has less of the truck bed liner feel to the inside of the pan and it's lighter which makes the wife more likely to use it!no sir. They do look nice though. the upsides I take away are; The curve seems pretty nice for cooking and cleaning, and the handle seems more comfortable. Weight is lighter, but that isn't a big deal for a 10.25". It might be for a 12 or bigger though.
The downside is price and the fact that its a little over an inch longer, so it wouldn't fit in my smart oven, which cooks far better than my regular range. And, so, since I have the others already, my cast iron stable is already about as full as the wife will allow.
