It's not cheating! It all depends on how I'm feeling the day I'm cooking. I like all of my smokers! The drum does give a stronger smoke flavor, so I take that into consideration as well.That’s the kind of device my son uses. He says anything else is cheating

I have 7lbs of chuck roast going on shortly. I made my own rub with salt, pepper, granulated garlic, celery seed, smoked paprika, and a little time. Im using hickory and plan on running at 250View attachment 4898
