Finally got our belongings on Wed. Many of our items were ruined, broken or destroyed. The movers packed a garden hose with our computer! So our computer, printer and monitor are fried. They even packed in a bag of pellets with the computer and saw dust is everywhere.

Both my Pit Boss smokers are covered but I have no idea what shape they are in I have been so busy at work that I haven't had time to look at them to make sure they are not broken.

Those numbskulls packed the grease bucket in with my wife's clothes! Ruined! Broken dishes, busted lamps, etc. Filing a claim with the moving company.

Working all weekend so I doubt I'll have time to inspect my smokers and see if they work. I'm hoping the door to the vertical smoker isn't broken.

Mike, it's bad enough you had to make that big move, now this with incompetent movers. Wasn't the 65" tv and the three apple computers damaged or missing?...lol

That's awful! Do you have any course of action to recover any losses through the moving company?

Yay! It works! As far as I can tell no auger jam either! Hasn't been started since March. Will try my other Pit Boss over the weekend if I have time

Yeah. Will file a claim and they will pay "something".

Numbskulls is putting it mildly. I can think of stronger words but might not be appropriate here. We hire these people thinking they are professionals...NOT! Hope the smokers are okay anyway...You need the stress relief. Maybe some nice ribs to start? Good luck.

2 for 2! Both smokers work! Will do some burgers on this one tonight. The drip bucket is gone. I believe it’s the bucket they threw in my wife’s drawer and it messed up the drawers and the movers who delivered must’ve tossed it out. That’s ok they have them in stock at Walmart and I’ll pick up a new one today.

Also, lots of wild life in this area of Michigan. We see deer every morning! Sometimes in our front yard!

2 for 2! Both smokers work! Will do some burgers on this one tonight. The drip bucket is gone. I believe it’s the bucket they threw in my wife’s drawer and it messed up the drawers and the movers who delivered must’ve tossed it out. That’s ok they have them in stock at Walmart and I’ll pick up a new one today.

One of those just out of spots goes real good on a open fire pit cooked like a whole hog.
