Left over brisket chili

2 cups brewed coffee
Thanks for the recipe. Curious about the coffee. Does it serve a "chemical process" purpose, or is it a flavoring for the chili? I love coffee, but if I start adding it to chili my wife may revolt.

So this recipe started with a recipe I found online and it evolved by adding things I saw on YouTube. I never really thought about the coffee so I looked it up. Here is a screenshot of what I found. You certainly can't taste the coffee in the final product. 2 things I would say about this recipe, it's a very mild chili good for work events(and my girlfriend) not spicy at all and the second thing is I prefer no beans in my chili but there are alot of people that like them.

Great ,you'll have to let me know how it comes out. Yes the tube is for extra smoke.

The chili turned out pretty good I used the fire roasted rotel diced tomatoes and hot green chilis. Had a nice little kick to it but not too much. I would make it again it was on the smoker for 6 hours it was cold and windy that day. My temp kept dropping for some reason. I didn’t use a smoke tube I wasn’t sure how much smoke would actually flavor the chili and didn’t want it to be over smokey for some people next time I’ll try the tube. It had some really nice flavors and it was better the next day even cold lol.

Looks great, I'm glad you liked it. The extra smoke from a tube definitely adds a nother layer of flavor. I stirred mine up every 30 minutes or so to get the smoke flavor throughout the chili. I wish I could go with more heat when I make it but I'm the only one that likes spicy food.

I'm sort of speechless......I've been waiting to do a brisket or something similar and then use the leftovers for chili.....looks like I'm going the market to get a brisket? Gonna have to get a cast iron pot too. Damn, this smoking is getting expensive.
