Mmm burgers ....

Just simple burgers yesterday. Had to give the PB a deep clean I have not used it since the fall. Maybe laziness or weather related I donā€™t know. Just havenā€™t felt like getting out in the cold. Yesterday was the first nice day in a while here in Michigan. So I cleaned it with a degreaser and let it run at 450 for 30 min to burn anything off (it was disgusting, the last time I used it I didnā€™t clean it properly mainly because I forgot I left it out then late at night just covered it up and left it all fall).

After cleaning I let it cool down and a few hours later threw on some burgers.

Tater tots, cheese, sauce and pulled pork. Anything else. Gonna have to try that.
That's it. I first cooked the tots(crispy). Then I put a layer of tots on a pan, then some fresh shredded Monterey jack cheese. Then more tots then cheese. Then pork on top , and a bit more cheese (because why not). I then put the pan in the oven at 450 until the cheese is melted throughout. After the I pulled it out of the oven I drizzled with bbq sauce. That's it. So simple but sooooooooo good! I hope you like them.

Reminds me of my simple Mexican Shepards pieā€¦ground beef cooked with some taco powderā€¦add a can of corn and top with crispy tattertots all in a casserole dish and cook for additional 25 mins at 325
