My wife was going to Kroger and I asked her to pick up a pork butt that was on sale. I threw it straight in the freezer and when I pulled it out to thaw I noticed it was labeled "Dry Pork Butt Steak Ready 1 piece". I've never seen that before butt (see what I did there?) I decided to go ahead and carry on. It took about 4 1/2 hours to get to 160ish and I pulled and wrapped it with a little more rub - 3 Little Pigs Championship and Blues Hog Original, some Kerry Irish Gold salted butter and a drizzle of honey. I used Bear Mountain Gourmet Blend in the hopper and pellet tube. It turned out pretty good.
