🔥 What's Smoking/Cooking on your Pit Boss?

Just to be on the safe side with no issues I ran it for 45 min on 350 with no meat inside. Wanted to make sure it works like it should! Just threw on the chickens!
Very nice. I'm not smoking this weekend. The kids are in with the grandkids and 4 of us have covid. Oh well, next weekend.
 
Interesting how we get attached to our gizmos
Sometimes it might be the thing its self, but more often than not its the experiences that the thing provides, and in the case of cookers, its almost always about making people happy with food. We get attached to the hippieness :)
 
I'm doing a 14lb butt tomorrow for a party on Sunday. I figure it will take around 18 hours at 250. I'm going to use Sam's pellets with Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub. When its done I will rest it in my vertical smoker at 160 until it's time to go. It looks like a really good butt, lots of fat and marbling.

UPDATES: just went on at 5am
