Photos look good. I use a leg rack all the time. Legs cook more evenly. Thighs look great too.

Quail, enjoyed with mammas creamed squash. Quite magnificent.

Dipped in butter, a light sprinkle of your favorite rub, on the pit @350. I ran for an hour, could have pulled them off at 45 min. Ended up slightly crispy and we really enjoyed that.

Yea, that sounds like a smoker. Any task calls for smoking something. Yardwork. Washing the car. Etc.

Remember, it’s always a weekend in retired life. So today my wife prepped Mac and cheese which I smoked for a couple hours. Let it set and cool until this evening when I griddled brats, onions and peppers and the smoked Mac and cheese.
