I am assuming you guys are all apple? Nothing in the android play store just the old version

I don’t know if I’d call em tabs. But did u see Rhe pics at App Store? At bottom Ans several categories including recipes etc. Is that what you downloaded looks like ?

I think something in their deployment of the app is still not correct. I have downloaded both the new and current app and created new accounts in the old app and still get smoke legacy when I downloaded the new app

Yea. I’m thinking somethings messed up.

I don't use fruit pellets and I don't have a fruit phone.
I am on android and as far as I know, there is nothing new.

On the iPhone, latest iOS the new app is out. The old app is labeled SmokeiTLegacy. The new app looks nice. It’s very similar to the Traeger app. I tried 3 times to connect to my grill but it didn’t work.

Ok …. Confusion is an understatement. When I made the first post about seeing a new app at iOS App Store there was two in there. The original Smoke IT being 5 months from the last update. Also another new looking one that was labeled
Smoke-It with a dash in there. That’s what I thought might be the new one. It said like one day old. I did not download it at that time. I think someone else did and reported it said Legacy. With it being only one day old I went ahead and downloaded it. I noticed the name on my iPhone says Smoke It Legacy.
I did not try installing it’s still just sitting on my screen.
I was away for awhile and just found someone had downloaded but it wouldn’t install. I went back to the iOS App Store and now the one named Smoke-it with a dash is not there anymore. But the familiar looking one with all the comments is there only says it’s one day old now instead of 5 months. And it is titled Smoke It Legacy there at the App Store.
I don’t have a clue which is suppose to be good. Like I said the one named Smoke-It with the dash that turns into Smoke It Legacy downloaded on my screen. Appears to be gone in there now. And the old original looking one is now named Smoke It Legacy only one day old.
I thought our new one would NOT be titled Legacy.

I think I’m gonna do like somebody else said. Not install nothing till this is all clarified.
And for the record. I want a new app that works. I’m gonna sit on the sidelines I think and see what happens.

The smoke it app seems to be working some what better than before it was updated. I’m using it now. The probe readouts are labeled 1-4 and I’m plugged into 1 and 2 but on the app it says I’m using 2 and 3. It don’t have the MPC port labeled.

Yesterday there was two available for just awhile. Can you tell me which app you’re using. Thanks!

I’m using the smoke it legacy app. I had only one choice. It took a few times for it to connect. I down loaded it last night and tried to connect this morning after the third time I went back into the App Store and it said update so I did that and logged back in and went through the WiFi set up and it finally connected.

Thanks for the info. And I may be wrong and probably am, but I thought when rhe SmokeIt Guy came on the scene awhile back he said there would be two versions available when it was all said and done.
One named Smoke It Legacy which would be the old app. And another named Smoke It being the new app.
I understood that as Legacy maybe an updated old app. And just Smoke iT the new app.

After yesterday with two being available. The old 5 month old Smoke It and a new one named Smoke It as well but only one day old and completely different looking and THEN when downloaded to my iPhone the name changed to Smoke It Legacy…. Well I’m still gonna wait awhile. Lol.
I need to find that post he made about it. I may not be remembering correctly. Which isn’t unusual for me these days. Lol.
