The legacy app appears to be working sogar.
OK. I’m gonna give it a shot.

I made fajitas and the wife even liked them. I used the updated legacy app.OK. I’m gonna give it a shot.

I’m test running this thing now. Using iPhone X. The page that show’s Bluetooth and WiFi when I click either one it jumps back to controls. But I don’t have the Bluetooth icon showing on upper right of my phone. Also in Settings it shows it has permission to use Bluetooth. But the grill isnt listed under Bluetooth in settings. Are yours similar? What I’m trying to say is, I’m not sure I have a Bluetooth connection.I made fajitas and the wife even liked them. I used the updated legacy app.
I saw the grill listed one time in Bluetooth and then the the next time it went away. It did say it was connected. The auger and ignition did nothing in the app. The temperature did function correctly and matched the controller. It is a little slow. This could have been my wifi connection. I finally did get it to work. Don’t sign out under accounts or you have start over again from scratch. I thing there are still some quirks with the app. I think it might have been rushed into production due to pressure from Pitboss and customer complaints. I worked in IT and have seen this type of project management lots of time in the past. Never turns out good.I’m test running this thing now. Using iPhone X. rhe old app the little Bluetooth icon in the app would blink on and off. Also sitting here watching it the fan ignition and auger icons aren’t displaying correctly to match what’s showing on the control.
Wondering if I should reinstall again. The first time I set up the new acct.
deleted smoke it from phone. And downloaded and installed this second time.
Any advice. Does any of this sound right to what you’re getting ?
Yea that sounds kinda like what mine done. The fan icon would work. Did you see the post I just did above these? Now at IOS App Store the Smoke-It is back up.(with the dash in the name. My smokeit app has a 3 by it. How do I clear that or see what the notifications are? Nothing shows up anywhere in the app or in notificationsThe new SMOKE it app was delayed by Apple until 8/3. Tomorrow the app stores will have 2 SMOKE iT apps. One will have SMOKE iT "Legacy" (which is the app your using now) and the new app will take over the SMOKE iT name. SMOKIE iT Legacy (old) SMOKE iT (new) When you download the new app you cannot just log in. You must create a new account to sign in. You can use you same old email but YOU MUST CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. You also must create a new account whenever you replace your control panel or the app will think it's still the old control panel and not communicate with it. <))))><
